My Journey

In 2012, I dreamt of working at a home Olympics, our first in the UK since 1948. But I did not know where to start. I had missed the deadline for GamesMakers and there were virtually no other options. Until one day, I decided I would go onto the Olympic Committee website and send out my CV and cover letter to its’ 206 members. This took me 2 full days to do, which yielded 203 no responses and only 2 saying ‘thanks but no thanks’… yet, one country replied,

Botswana…

and the rest they say is history…
